Customizing the instrument cluster
Your new Everest is the smartest to date, and the all-new digital instrument cluster has been designed to deliver lots of vital information to the driver in a clear and effective manner.
The eight-inch screen can be personalised to give drivers the level of information they need while at work, with the family, or preparing for an adventure.
Personalizing your instrument cluster is easy. Here is how to do it.
Configuring the digital instrument cluster
To get started, press the Menu button on the steering wheel.
Depending on model, main menu items include:
MyView
You can customize up to seven on demand information screens for quick access to details you use often.
Trip/Fuel
There are two trip screens that display trip distance, trip time, average trip speed and average fuel use. You will also find displays for fuel economy, Auto Start/Stop2 and Driver Assistance settings.
Off-Road (4x4 models only)
You can view your off-road status, pitch, and roll angles, power distribution, MyGauges (two customizable options for the four gauges in the main display - see Settings, below) and driver assistance features here.
Towing¹
You will find trailer information (distance, trailer gain and fuel economy), trailer light status and driver assistance features here.
Phone
Shows you which phone is connected, and call information when required.
Audio
Shows you what is playing on SYNC®4 - whether it is your favorite station, playlist, audiobook or song.
Navigation
Gives you vital navigation information so that you do not need to glance at the center display while driving.
Settings
You can also customize your digital instrument cluster content here by selecting the two central gauges you would like to see in the main display.
Vehicle Maintenance
Gives you readings for Oil Life and Tyre Pressure.
